New Member Of The Family

Meet Knuffle Bunny, the newest addition to our family. Sadie has a few favorites that are constantly with her. Baby Katie, Daisy, Frosty The Snowman, Nemo, Splat the Cat....... and now...... Knuffle Bunny! Every night, we have to read all three Knuffle Bunny books (great kids books, very funny!) and now because of the Easter Bunny's penchant for surfing on Amazon.com, she has one of her very own. It's official that he is part of the "in crowd" in her room because she took him out on a stroller ride to show him his new neighborhood. :) We only went around the block, but it took us 45 minutes. My curious little stroller kept constantly stopping to smell and pick flowers, trying to pick up the ants and bugs on the ground, inquiring in great length why the bumble bee was walking on the ground and not flying, and how he might have gotten a boo boo, and if his mommy was going to make him feel better, and learning about the trees growing leaves and what buds are...... whew ........ so yes...... 45 minutes. But a treasured 45 minutes, because it was one of our sweetest walks yet. When we went home, she took her flowers and made this flower arrangement all by herself. Then, like mom, proceeded to get her fake camera and photograph it. :)

Who's Happy?!

Trying out her new roller skates that she got for her birthday from Uncle Paul, she LOVES them! That is pure happiness on her face. Must be just like her Momma, I spent many an hour roller skating when I was a kid. Although, she is slightly terrifying me on these "skates of death" that I now call them, as she careens around. She now wears a bike helmet and soon will be donning some knee pads and a thick roll of bubble paper wrapped completely around her. Kidding. Kind of.

The Easter Bunny brought Sadie's current favorite thing- KNUFFLE BUNNY! And a new knuffle bunny book too. Those are the best books!

Happy Easter everyone! Today's pre-Easter activities. Looking forward to making her basket tonight, she is very excited this year for the Easter Bunny to come!

Toddler Food Rut

Ya know, it was soooo much easier to shop and cook when I was was childless! I'm not picky, I'll eat most things. But planning meals now has become such a chore and finding food for my seriously "picky" eater that will actually be eaten is a challenge. So...... does anyone have any suggestions for meals (breakfast, lunch or dinner) that are winners with their toddlers? Or even ways to serve the food that is more fun or interesting, tempting them to at least try it? Any tricks or games used? I'll listen to anything, I'm plum out of ideas and I'm running on empty right now!
